You will make an online magazine about yourself using ReadyMag.
Due: Monday, 9/12/16 by noon.
ReadyMag is a digital publishing platform. Basically it's a tool that helps you make a one page website without knowing any code. It has an easy interface, a bunch of good looking templates to start you off, and a lot of control over many design elements. It allows you to import videos from YouTube and Vimeo, add images that you search off of Google or Flickr, upload things, use hundreds of different fonts, add graphics and colors, link to different online resources, add slides shows and more. The sites it makes work on tablets and smartphones as well as traditional computers... and best of all it's free for a certain level of functionality, which is all you'll need to complete this project.
You'll need to go to ReadyMag and set up an account. Again, the account is free and you can be up and running in 3 minutes. A free ReadyMag account lets you make an unlimited number of sites each of which can be a maximum of 10 pages. You'll be doing a number of ReadyMag's for STAC this year, and feel free to use it to make content for other classes. Think of it as a much better looking version of Powerpoint that is hosted on the web.
Your magazine is about you. Remember, this is going on the Internet so don't put a bunch of stuff that makes you look stupid or perverted or generally evil. You're building your brand. Think about what you want to say about yourself. Also, this ReadyMag is self-contained. It isn't a slideshow that you talk over during a presentation, it functions as a complete statement.
You can be as creative as you want as long as you hit the requirements below and the deadline on the project.
Your ReadyMag site needs to have a page covering each of the following:
Additionally, you need to add a page about whatever else you wish to talk about for a total minimum of 8 pages on your site.
This is due by noon on Monday, 9/12/16. You need to email me the link to your ReadyMag.
The Subject line is this and this only: Enneagram ReadyMag - Your Name
The content of the email is a single line of text that is the URL to your ReadyMag site, and that text should be clickable as a link to take whoever clicks it right to your site - pretty much exactly what's below but with your information:
If you're not on this list, you're letting people drown.
