JAMES III is an actor and writer from Akron, Ohio.

He had a recurring role on the 2016 Seriously.TV show Thanksgiving created by Dan Powell and Bethany Hall and starred in The Adventures of Jamel: The Time Traveling B-Boy web series which appeared in 2015 Tribeca Film Festival N.O.W. Series.

James has developed digital content for the Fusion Network and is a freelance writer for Funny or Die. He has written four solo shows, Junior, 3rd Impressions, think we kissed, but i forgot..., and The Black Friend in a White Show.

He co-hosts the podcast Black Men Can't Jump [In Hollywood] and with the hosts, he has developed content for Comedy Central Digital and Hearst Digital/Seriously.TV. His comedy team Astromony Club was featured in the 2016 Comedy Central Sketch Comics To Watch Showcase.

James performs weekly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre-NY.

James held an acting and comedy workshop at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre-NY where our STACies also practiced improv and how to incorporate improv with an audience.
